IT IS TIME YOU ARE SAVED By Pastor Amos.D. Dada Ph.D
Let me ask you some questions. What are you living for? What is the driving force of your life? What makes you happy? How do you spend your typical day? What do you think this world is meant to achieve? Why do you think God created man? Are you satisfied with your life as it is? Are you satisfied with your marriage? Are you really enjoying your life or are you enduring your life? As I move from coast to coast I see people like you craving for a better life. Seeking for a better job, better education, and better promotion. But when they get what they are looking for they set another goal and another goal and another goal until they eventually die. The more they achieve their goals, which was to give them happiness the more depressed and deluded they become. The so called best of men, philosophers, star actresses/actors, Presidents of nations, CEO of world conglomerates have not only died in isolation and delusion, but in chronic frustration. Why because of the missing link. Lack of salvation. When we talk of salvation, they tell you they do not want that religious stuff? They tell you what they need is vacation. Salvation is not religious stuff it is what it is called S- A -L- V-A- T-I-O-N! To save you. Whatever you want to be saved from name it that is what Jesus died for. Oh you say I go to church, I am even baptized or confirmed or both, I sing in the choir, and my mum took me to church. I play organ in the church, fine. Go for salvation. When you are thirsty and you drink water you know whether your thirst is quenched or not. When you are saved you will know you are saved .It is time you you are saved. Christianinty is not churchanity. Christianity is living a new life in Christ; the latter is flavouring your life with occasional church attendance!
To be saved is to accept Jesus Christ in your life. I know some hate us mentioning that name. But I am sorry for you. You had better learn to live with that name otherwise you will live with Satan. Then you will know which one is better. Your case is like the proverbial man that said education is expensive he was told try ignorance. To be saved is to drop one terrible three-letter world SIN in your life. All Jesus wants is to get sin out of you and welcome you to life eternal in the world here and in the world to come. Some say they don't even believe in the world to come. Whether you believe or not does not change the fact that there is eternal life with Christ or with Satan, in heaven or hell. The creator did not get permission before creating you and all he created. He just told you the best of the options and advised you to choose the best. When you are saved you will enjoy your life here and beyond. Psalm 14:1 A fool has said in his heart there is no God.The Word of God tells us that all of us have sinned and need a Savior. Our sins actually separated us from God Romans 3:22-28. For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.Further more Romans 6:23,The wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. God gave his son Jesus, paying a very incredible price for us. John 3:1-17. He died, nailed to a cross on a hill called Calvary. He did that and took all the sins of mankind on him so that we could be saved from eternal damnation. John 3:16 says For God so love the world that he gave His only begotten Son that whosever believes in Him will not perish but have eternal Life. What a love!

Now because of what he did, we can know we have an opportunity to have eternal life with Christ. To know Jesus personally, and have our sins forgiven, we must believe that we are sinners separated from God and our only hope is in Jesus the Son of God. The bible tells us, if we believe that Jesus is the Son of God, he came and died for the payment of your sins and on the third day, He arose from the dead, you shall be saved. Just believing is not enough. We need to take the next steps forward. We must personally confess our sins to God and ask forgiveness, turning away from those old sins. Then we must welcome Jesus into our life as Saviour. He will move in and help us to change from the inside out. Romans 10:9-10That if thou shall confess with the mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in thine heart that God raised him from the dead, thou shall be saved for with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto Salvation. Believing Christ died that is history, believing Christ died for me that is salvation. If you are ready to repent of your sins and believe Jesus so that you can receive His forgiveness, and enjoy your life, marriage and prosper in all areas of your life please pray like this:
Lord Jesus, today I come before you in prayer and confess that I am a sinner. I believe that Jesus is the Son of God. I believe that he died for the payment of my sins. I believe that on the third day he arose from the dead. Now today I want to ask you to forgive me of all of my sins. I want to receive Jesus as my personal Saviour. I ask you to come into my life and be my Lord, Saviour and Friend. Thank you for giving me eternal life with you and making me to be born again. In Jesus name I pray. AMEN
